Responsibilities and Roles
- Coordinate with production departments and reporting managers to plan production activities and improve runtime.
- Plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders.
- Develop and review production plans with all production department Managers for approval with the Sr. Manager – Production.
- Monitor the execution of production plans and resolve any potential issues in a timely manner.
- Investigate production problems, analyze root causes, and provide effective solutions.
- Communicate production status to Managers/Management regularly.
- Analyze back orders, current orders, and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule production operations.
- Plan inventory management processes to avoid shortages and excess stock.
- Prepare and maintain reports for production planning activities in SAP and submit to management as needed.
- Prepare a Bill of Materials using SAP software.
